At the outset let me thank the Office bearers of OPAI for trusting Giridhar Eye Institute and the Oculoplasty team in Kerala for conducting the next Annual conference in 2026, from the 24th to 26th of April, at Kochi.
Kochi, known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea” is a vibrant metropolis with infrastructure to host medical Conferences of any magnitude. We also have a great organizing team in Kerala, fresh out of the 2023 AIOC. Kochi is also the gateway to the beautiful state of Kerala very aptly called “God's Own Country”.
We are super excited to hold this Annual meeting of OPAI and are leaving no stone unturned to make it a memorable one.

It gives me immense pleasure, as President of the Oculoplastics Association of India (OPAI), to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our members, colleagues, and friends to the 36th Annual Conference of OPAI, to be held in the beautiful city of Kochi, Kerala.
Kochi, often called God’s Own Country’s Gateway, is known for its serene charm, cultural richness, and warm hospitality, a perfect setting for an academic gathering that blends knowledge, collaboration, and camaraderie.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Organising Committee at Kochi, especially Dr. S. J. Saikumar, Chairman, and Dr. Marian Pauly, Organizing Secretary, for their tireless efforts, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
